Newspaper Cuttings and Newspaper Library

The constitution of the archive of newspaper cuttings, annexed to the library and which continues to grow, dates back to 1921. It is composed of about 450,000 cuttings from Italian and foreign periodicals (daily newpapers, magazines, special issues…) which refer to d’Annunzio and the Vittoriale, collections which date from 1880. The oldest cuttings are glued to card supports and placed in boxes ordered chronologically, since 2008 however the cuttings have been made available in digital format. Work on the computerized inventory has continued, and has already been completed and is available on this website.
